Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 October 2026
The Daily Grind ("the service") is provided by Alex Kelly, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). When you use the service you are entering into an agreement with Alex Kelly.
1. Accepting these terms
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You must be at least 18, or have authority to act for the business you use it for.
2. What the service does
The Daily Grind uses artificial intelligence to write social media captions for independent coffee businesses, and lets account holders schedule captions, store photos and manage locations.
3. Your account
Keep your login details private and accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or for spam;
- create hateful, harassing, misleading or deceptive content, including impersonating others;
- upload content you don't have the rights to, or infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- try to break, probe, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, spread malware, or bypass usage limits or AI safeguards;
- resell or redistribute the service.
5. AI-generated captions
You are responsible for what you ask the service to write, for checking captions before posting, and for how you use them. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable, so please review it. Subject to these terms, you may use captions generated for you freely. We may filter requests, refuse outputs, or remove content that breaks these terms. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeated infringement may lead to account suspension.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of photos and text you upload. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only to provide the service.
7. Our intellectual property
We own the service, including its software, design, name and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Pro is £9.99 per month after a one-week free trial and renews monthly until cancelled. If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you've paid for. See our Refund Policy.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don't pay, or pose a security or fraud risk. You can stop using the service at any time. When an account is closed, we delete its data within a reasonable time.
11. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
12. General
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. You may not transfer your account without our consent. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. We may update these terms and will show the new date above.
